Due to the second waves of the covid 19. Some countries of the world have stopped the issuing of visas to foreigners.
The Chinese government has impermanently put on hold the entry of Nigerians into China. This is new in order to curb the widespread of covid 19.
The Embassy of China and Consulate in Nigeria announced this on Thursday, stating that it will no longer issue a certified health declaration for non- Chinese nationals in the country.
According to the communique, entry by holder of diplomatic, service courtesy,or C visas will not be affected.
Foreign nationls visiting China for emergency needs may apply for visas at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
Also entry by non- Chinese nationals in Nigeria with visa issued after November 3 2020 will not be affected.
The Chinese authorites said the suspesion is a temporary response necesitated by the current situation of vovid 19.
