Kaduna State government has said its public servants will henceforth work for four, instead of the usual five days a week.
It said its workers would work from home for one day per week.
The government said the measure is meant to boost productivity, improve work-life balance and enable workers to have more time for their families, for rest and for agriculture.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication, Mr. Muyiwa Adekeye, announced this in a statement yesterday in Kaduna.
The statement said the government would start implementing the transitional arrangements from December 1, 2021.
