The detained founder and lead pastor of a church in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Amos Isah, allegedly threatened to harm a 14-year-old girl and her family if she revealed his assault on her in the church auditorium.

‎Isah was arrested by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) last week for the alleged crime. Known for his charismatic sermons, Isah led a ministry behind Noble Noel Academy, opposite Gwagwalada Market. His social media posts emphasized holiness, starkly contrasting the accusations against him.

‎A family member claimed Isah has a pattern of targeting young girls, often luring them to isolated areas in his tinted-window car.

‎ The assault reportedly occurred in a new, secluded church office not yet fully in use. The family source described how Isah locked multiple doors, prayed over the girl, and assaulted her despite her protests. Afterward, he allegedly gave her ₦3,000 for "medication" upon noticing blood, prayed again, and issued threats to silence her, claiming police connections.

‎The source further alleged Isah had previously assaulted the girl, starting when she was 13, by taking her to a remote area near Sharia Court in Gwagwalada.

‎He contacted her through her mother’s phone, manipulated her into meeting him, and ensured she avoided detection by church members.

‎The girl, an only child, eventually confided in her mother, who sought a counselor’s help. The father reported the case to the police after learning of the incident. Investigations are ongoing, with allegations of other victims involved.
